Enjoy the Adventure

As the Land of High Passes, Ladakh boasts a landscape that can leave you speechless. The landscape changes dramatically here; it is truly astonishing to see mountains, snow, a cold desert, alpine meadows, and lakes all within a short distance of each other. Adventurers and nature lovers alike will enjoy Ladakh's tourism. Known for its lofty barren mountains, Ladakh is home to high motorable passes like Khardung La (5359 m), Marsimik La (5582 m), and Chang La (5360 m), as well as alpine lakes like Pangong Tso (4350 m) and Tso Moriri (4522 m). The region of Ladakh is further divided into three regions - Leh, Nubra, and Zanskar. A lot of adrenaline-rushing activities are offered in Leh, which makes it popular among adventurers. With unique and unmatched treks like the Frozen River Trek, the union territory is among the top trekking destinations in India. The region offers mountaineering, motorbike riding, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, and more. In addition to its outstanding beauty, there are thousands of old Buddhist monasteries situated mostly in the mountains. Monasteries are significant pilgrimage destinations for Buddhists in Ladakh and cultural centers where major religious festivals take place.

We will take you to the Khardungla Pass, the highest motorable pass in the world, and then to Diskit, the administrative center for the Nubra Valley. One of the oldest monasteries in Nubra Valley, it is notable for being an old monastery with historical significance. While exploring the historic monastery, experience a sense of peace and spirituality in the setting. After a memorable day in the Nubra Valley, it’s time to unwind, end the day with a delectable dinner, and spend the night in camps at Hunder Village.

Have breakfast at the hotel to start the day, and then we’ll drive you to Turtuk through Hunder village, which is near the Pakistan-India border. It is a small village with unmatched natural beauty located on the banks of the Shyok River. Discover the local way of life and history by reading the village stories. Together with your friends, spend some time strolling around the lovely scenery. Later, get ready to depart and return to Nubra for dinner and a stay.
